Examoji is an independent practice platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, accredited by, or connected in any way to the IELTS partners — the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, or Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

"IELTS" is a trademark of those organisations. We use the name only to describe which exam this platform helps you prepare for, which is the ordinary, descriptive use of a trademark — not a claim of any relationship with its owners.

Nothing you do here registers you for a test, and nothing here produces an official result. Book the real test, and get your real result, through an official IELTS test centre.

Examoji gives you timed practice tests — full-length mocks and shorter sectional practice across Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking — together with a record of what you have attempted and feedback on where to focus next.

All of the questions and materials on this platform are written by us. We do not reproduce past or current papers from any exam board, and material from any prep provider is not copied or reworded here. Where a passage or recording is built on outside source material, that material is openly licensed and is credited on the page it appears on — see content and sources below.

Any band figure Examoji shows you is an indicative estimate, not an official IELTS result and not a prediction of one. It tells you roughly where this practice attempt sat; it cannot tell you what you would score on test day.

Do not use anything on this site as evidence of your English level for a visa, a university application, an employer, or any other official purpose.

We do not ask your age and cannot verify it. Examoji is intended for people preparing for an English-language proficiency exam; if you are under the age at which you can agree to terms like these on your own where you live, ask a parent or guardian before signing up.

You can use Examoji free. The free plan includes 2 full mock tests per calendar month and 1 Writing or Speaking prompt per week, plus the practice sets we have marked as free. Those allowances are enforced by the site itself and are shown to you as you use them, so you always know where you stand.

Premium removes those limits and unlocks the rest of the library. Current prices and inclusions are shown on the upgrade page. We can change plans, allowances and prices for future purchases; if a change would reduce what Premium access you have already paid for covers, we will tell you before it applies to you.

The prices and free-tier limits currently displayed on the upgrade page are provisional — a business decision on final pricing has not yet been confirmed. That said, if you complete a purchase today, the amount charged is exactly the price shown at checkout; "provisional" describes whether this figure might change for future purchasers, not whether today's charge is real.

Premium is a one-time payment, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge, no auto-renewal, and no card or UPI mandate kept on file for later billing. Paying gets you a fixed period of Premium access — see Refunds and cancellation below for exactly how long — and at the end of that period you are simply back on the Free plan unless you choose to pay again.

Payments are processed by Razorpay, an RBI-regulated Indian payment gateway, in Indian Rupees (INR). When you pay, your card, UPI or netbanking details go to Razorpay, not to us — we never see or store them. We only ever ask Razorpay to create an order for the exact amount our own server has already decided (never an amount your browser sends us), and we only grant Premium once Razorpay tells us, with a signed confirmation we verify, that the payment was actually captured.

Current prices are shown on the upgrade page before you pay, in INR, with no hidden charges added at checkout. We can change prices for future purchases; a purchase you have already made is not affected by a later price change.

This section exists because Examoji now takes real payments, and we would rather state a plain policy than leave the question unanswered.

Because Premium access is granted in full the moment payment is confirmed — the whole library unlocks immediately, not gradually — we do not offer a refund simply because you changed your mind after browsing what Premium unlocked. That is the practical trade-off of a digital product you can use in full from second one.

Outside those situations we consider refund requests individually and may decline them, but we would rather look at a real case than hide behind a blanket "no refunds" line.

How to ask: email support@examoji.com from the address on your account with the approximate date and amount, or the payment/order reference Razorpay showed you. We handle this by hand today — there is no self-service "request a refund" button — so tell us plainly what happened rather than searching for one.

What happens if we approve a refund: we issue it back to your original payment method through Razorpay, and your Premium access is withdrawn at the same time — you go back to the Free plan rather than keeping paid access after being refunded for it. How quickly the money itself reaches you back depends on your bank or UPI app once Razorpay processes the reversal, which we do not control and will not promise a specific number of days for.

The tests, questions, explanations and feedback on Examoji are ours (or used by us under the licences described below). You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them to prepare for your exam. You do not get the right to redistribute them.

What you write in a practice task stays yours. You let us store it and process it in order to run the service — showing you your own answers, tracking your progress and generating your feedback. We do not publish it, sell it, or show it to other users. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to it and how to have it deleted.

Some of our reading passages and listening scripts are written from openly licensed source material, rather than invented from nothing, so that the facts in them are real. We only use material whose licence permits reuse in a commercial product, and we record the source and its licence for every piece of material we adapt.

Where a passage or recording draws on that material, the credit appears with the material itself, on the same screen, because that is what these licences require. Material we adapt has been changed — condensed, re-levelled and rewritten into exam-style tasks — and none of the original licensors endorses Examoji or has approved what we made from it.

Separately from passage and script content: some Listening recordings use a synthetic voice built by cloning the accent of a real reference speaker from the CSTR VCTK Corpus (University of Edinburgh), used here under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). No cloned voice is presented as, or intended to represent, a real identifiable person — it is used only to capture a genuine regional accent that would not otherwise be available. The reference speaker informing each such voice is recorded for anyone who wants it.

If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, email support@examoji.com with enough detail to identify it and we will look into it promptly.

Examoji is a young product under active development. We do not promise it will always be available, and we may add, change or remove tests, features and content. Occasionally that means something you were part-way through changes; we try to avoid it, but we cannot rule it out.

We work hard to make the content accurate, but it is written by people and may contain mistakes. If you spot one, please tell us — that genuinely helps.

Practising here does not guarantee any particular result on the real exam. Nobody can guarantee that, and we will not pretend otherwise. The service is provided as it is, and we cannot accept responsibility for decisions you take based on a practice estimate — for example booking or delaying a test date. To the extent the law allows, our liability for your use of Examoji is limited to what you have paid us for it.

You can stop using Examoji at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy for how.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of the acceptable-use rules above. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to put it right.

We will update this page when the product changes, and the "last updated" date at the top will move. For a change that materially affects you — a price increase, or a change to the refund policy above, for example — we will tell you by email rather than relying on you noticing.
